This exhibition presents a body of work that explores contemporary Australian femininity, landscape, and animal form through a blend of modern and abstract painting. Drawing inspiration from rural life, open country, and iconic cowgirl imagery, the artist moves fluidly between expressive abstraction and refined modern composition. Animals feature prominently throughout the collection, depicted with strength, sensitivity, and presence.

Working primarily in acrylic, each piece balances bold colour, exaggerated form, and intentional mark-making. From a distance, the works feel confident and impactful; up close, they reveal superb detail, texture, and considered brushwork that rewards closer viewing.

Rooted in regional NSW and presented within an urban Melbourne context, the collection reflects a dialogue between country life and contemporary culture. Together, these works celebrate identity, connection to place, and a distinctly modern Australian visual language that is both powerful and inviting.
