Looking at the link between artists who have produced abstraction and figuration, and also probing the moment when figuration becomes abstraction, Frozen Blood allows uncertainty and hidden layers to underpin it.

Highlights include historical works by Mike Brown, Maria Kozic and Peter Booth; new paintings by Sarah Drinan, Yasmin Hopkins; new works by Spencer Lai; works on paper by Marco Fusinato, Brett Whiteley and Rob McLeish; sculptures by Claire Lambe, Gaetano Pesce, Hugo Blomley; paintings by Richard Bell, Gemma Smith and Sam Martin; textiles by Vita Cochran.
