Cheers, salud, bottoms up! Along with the clink of a glass, this is the universally recognised sound of celebration.

The ritual originated in medieval times to ensure the absence of poison from one's chalice. In contemporary times this act has become a sign of connection, a toast to good health and the familiar precursor to an evening well-spent.

Ten Australian artists and makers, drawn from diverse material practices, have considered the experience of celebration to present vessels and accompanying drinking accessories – just in time for the festive season!
